What is BRWF?

Established in 1963, Bakersfield Republican Women, Federated (BRWF) has a rich history of fostering women as leaders and promoting the Republican Party.

Our main focus is to educate our members on issues and candidates through our monthly general meeting speakers, providing access to conferences and conventions, by working on campaigns, and through personal research.  Cultivating informed and persuasive Republican Women is how we contribute to our community and helping elect Republicans in our county, state, and country is what we strive for!

Our club is active in promoting education through our literacy and library projects, connecting with our troops overseas with care packages, and reaching out to those in need in our community.  Each year, BRWF presents a fundraising event for our community to be a part of.  These events help us raise funds for our yearly operations.

We are an affiliate of the California Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women; two grassroots political groups that are some of the largest and most influential women’s political organizations in the country.

Bakersfield Republican Women, Federated

Bakersfield Republican Women, in 2022, have the opportunity to participate in returning to pro-freedom, pro-family, pro-business, and pro-law enforcement that our country experienced from 2016 – 2020.  Through awareness and education, our members can be a strong force in creating an environment that will secure the future for our children and grandchildren.

There was a time when we voted for candidates who represented us on the national, state and local level.  That is no longer enough.  We must be involved.  We encourage our members to attend community/school board meetings and voice our opinions, work on campaigns to elect Republican candidates and also to run for local offices.

The mission of 2022 for Bakersfield Republican Women is to help bring our country back to one that holds Republican values and policies.   We will provide information and opportunities through guest speakers at our monthly general meetings, attendance at conferences/conventions, campaign schools/training, Republican Candidate Forums, weekly updated emails, a monthly newsletter and participation in community events.

You are invited to join Bakersfield Republican Women and become part of the “Return to Republican Red” in California and our country.  We meet on the second Tuesday of each month for a luncheon meeting at Stockdale Country Club at 7001 Stockdale Highway.  Doors open at 11:30 and the cost is $25.  Call for reservations at 661-477-7004 or send an email to our reservation line at brwfreservations@gmail.com.
