Support H.R. 22: Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act

Position: Vote Yes

Status: The bill passed the House 218-213 on February 11, 2026. Attempts in March and June 2026 were made again in the Senate but failed. The bill has officially been ruled stalled in the Senate and is awaiting Senate action.

Requires documentary proof of U.S. citizenship and photo identification for individuals registering to vote in federal elections.
