THE MISSION OF KERN COUNTY MEAL PREP EVERY 3RD WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH 9:45 am -12PM
To join us preparing lunches on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 9:45 am - 12 pm
Bring your own apron, gloves, and wear closed toe-shoes (The Mission will provide gloves if you don't have any) If this will be your first-time preparing meals at The Mission, there is a liability form you will have to fill out. When you register for the event, you will see a link for the liability form. Click on the link, print off the form, fill it out, and bring it with you. |

Baby Bottle Campaign: Please return your baby bottle full of change to our July 14th luncheon.
Stay tuned for more information on the baby shower we will be hosting for expected mothers at the BPC.
KEEP BAKERSFIELD BEAUTIFUL - ADOPT A STREET PROGRAM
We have partnered with the City of Bakersfield 'Keep Bakersfield Beautiful' program and our adopted street is Cottonwood Road (aka South Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd - exit off of Hwy 58), between East Casa Loma Drive and East White Lane. We meet at the corner of Cottonwood Road and East White Lane once a quarter. No telling what Mother Nature will be doing, so dress accordingly and bring your gloves; refreshments and garbage bags will be provided. If this will be your first time picking up trash, there is a liability form you’ll need to fill out. When you register, you will see a link for the liability form, print off two (2) copies, fill both of them out, and bring them with you. 2026 SHOE BOX WRAPPING AT THE MISSION
Join us at the Mission for Christmas wrapping in the Summer. We wrap shoe boxes that will be filled in December with goodies to be given out to the residents and children for the holiday. Bring your own Christmas wrap, tape and scissors.
Between 1pm -4pm for these dates: Thursday, July 9th Saturday, July 18th Thursday August 6th Saturday August 15th
