The purpose of the Caring for America program is to change lives and show we care about our community by being a giving and loving organization and proving we can make a difference. In Kern County we are sponsoring a highway clean-up program, food prep at the local mission, preparing and filling shoeboxes for the residents of the mission, writing out greeting cards to people living in residential care facilities, sponsoring events with Open Door Network, Bakersfield Pregnancy Center and other Kern County non-profit organizations.

Current projects:
| Our Caring for America program is based on the belief that problems can be solved most effectively through the generosity and combined energies of individual citizens. Our goal is to encourage Republican women to show their compassionate and caring philosophy and that of the Republican Party they are proud to be an integral part of. In the New Year, our club will continue our efforts in combating human trafficking in our county, and to strengthen current partnerships with Open Door, The Mission of Kern County, Bakersfield Pregnancy Center, City of Bakersfield 'Keep Bakersfield Beautiful' program, Houchin Blood Bank, Kern Long Term Care Ombudsman program, Right to Life Kern County, Wreaths Across America and other charitable organizations. |
