late 70’s, she founded Capital Campaigns, Inc. which has consulted to over 500 candidates,
initiatives, referendums, businesses and charities including Muhammad Ali, UCLA School of
Medicine, UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, UCI School of Medicine, LA County
Museum of Art, the House Ear Institute, the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery, Los Angeles
BioMedical Institute at Harbor-UCLA, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as well as
numerous campaigns for President (George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, Ronald Reagan, Pete
Wilson, George W. Bush, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani), Governor (Pete
Wilson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Deukmejian, Jeb Bush, George W. Bush), US
Senate (over 100 campaigns around the country), The Republican National Committee,

and Republican Governors Association.
Anne Dunsmore has set new records for charitable giving, having served as Director of
Development for UCLA Medical Sciences (averaging over $180 million/year while continuing to
run her consulting businesses). Managing a staff of over 30 people where, in addition to
programmatic needs, they raised $1.2 billion to build two new hospitals as well as additional
medical, academic and research facilities. The naming concept as well as funding strategy of
the current Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center was designed by Anne Dunsmore during
this time, when she also consulted on the David Geffen School of Medicine naming. Currently
she has founded Angel Force USA which is an artists’ coalition to raise awareness of veteran
suicide in the military community and is President of the Institute for Fair Elections.
After having offices in over 10 cities in the United States, Anne has settled Capital Campaigns,
Inc. and her management firm, Anne Hyde LLC, in Newport Beach, California.
Anne Hyde Dunsmore was born in New York City and raised in Sneden’s Landing in Rockland
County, New York. She attended Kent School in Connecticut and graduated from Wheaton
