David Valadao

Candidate for Congress in the 21st District

Former Congressman

David Valadao served as a Member of the United States House of Representatives, representing California’s 21 st Congressional District from 2013 through 2019, which includes Kings County and portions of Fresno, Kern, and Tulare Counties. Unfortunately, he suffered an excruciatingly close loss in 2018 to Democrat, TJ Cox. It was a race so close, it was the last Congressional race in America that was called.
David Valadao was born and raised in Hanford, California. As a lifelong resident of the Central Valley, he has been active in agriculture and dairy industry groups, as well as many local charities. He attended local schools, graduated from Hanford High School, and later attended the College of the Sequoias in Visalia. Valadao married his high school sweetheart and together, they have three children.
During Valadao’s tenure in the House of Representatives, he fought to bring water to the Central Valley, lower taxes and bolster employment, reduce burdensome red tape for entrepreneurs and improve the care of our veterans. For the last year, constituents of the 21 st District have gone without a
Representative in DC who is focused on the Central Valley’s priorities. As a result, we have suffered under an out-of-touch agenda fueled by Congressman TJ Cox.
David Valadao is running to regain his seat in California’s 21st Congressional District to once again make our community’s voice heard on Capitol Hill.
